The Reverend Mark Buetow serves as the Associate Pastor and School Administrator for Zion Lutheran Church and School. He also served Higher Things (a Lutheran Youth organization) for nine years as Internet Services Executive and then Media and Deputy Executive. He has taught and written extensively for Higher Things. Pastor Buetow is a graduate of Purdue University and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He has served parishes in New Orleans, Louisiana and Du Quoin, Illinois. He and his wife, Susan, have been married 23 years and have three daughters. In his free time, Pastor Buetow enjoys tabletop (strategy, war, card) gaming.
I give thanks to God always for you because of the grace of God which was given to you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in Him with all speech and all knowledge-so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
