The Reverend Aden Loest has been the Assisting Pastor at Zion Lutheran Church since 1998 and is now Pastor Emeritus. He graduated in 1954 from Concordia College in Milwaukee WI, and then graduated from Concordia Seminary in 1959. He was ordained into the ministry on July 12, 1959. He has also served congregations in Minnesota and Illinois.
Pastor Loest has 4 married children and 10 grandchildren whom he loves dearly. He makes hospital and home visits as well as leading service at Alden Terrace Nursing Home once a month. He also holds a Villa Fellowship Hour at The Villa once a month and He preaches occasionally here at Zion. Pastor enjoys his weekly devotions with the Pre-School children where he reads them a biblical story and entertains them with his harmonica abilities.
Virtually all members of Zion know him as Pastor PAL.
I give thanks to God always for you because of the grace of God which was given to you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in Him with all speech and all knowledge-so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
