Zion Lutheran Church School - Life at Zion

Life at Zion

OPPORTUNITIES TO WORSHIP:

Divine Services are held Sundays at 9:00am, Wednesdays at 7:00pm and Saturdays at 6:00pm. Services are also held at Fish Lake Beach Camping Resort on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.  Fish lake services run Memorial Day through Labor Day.

We worship using the historic traditional liturgies of the church as found in the Lutheran Service Book.

OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN:

“Learning the Faith” is a time for people of all ages to hear and learn God’s Word together. It combines what is traditionally called “Sunday School” and “Bible Class,” focusing upon study of the Small Catechism and Bible together. Children through adults are all welcome.

Lutheranism 101 is held in the Narthex at 10:30 am on Tuesdays. This class focuses on the teachings of the bible as understood by Lutherans throughout the history of the Church.

Please contact the church office if you are interested in these classes.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE:

Zion offers many ways to serve our neighbor.  There are opportunities for serving fellow members and those in need in our community.  For example, Zion collects donations monthly for the FISH Pantry and recycles our paper to raise funds to assist those in need of financial assistance.  These are only two of the many ways you can help.  Please contact our office to find out how you can serve.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR FELLOWSHIP:

In addition to worship, Zion offers multiple avenues for building fellowship together in the body of Christ.  From Sports teams and ladies groups to youth activities, we are sure that Zion has a way for you to get connected. Please contact our church office to find out more about how you can get involved.
