We’re a day early this week! Brandy will be out of town tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday. The Church Office will be closed those days but you can always reach me on my cell phone. I’ll be in the building, checking messages and mail too. Have a safe trip, Brandy, and thanks for all you do!
This week we hear of the rich man and Lazarus. Did the rich man love God? He couldn’t, if he didn’t love his neighbor, the poor man begging at his gate. The rich man gets what he deserves but Lazarus is comforted. Christ came to comfort us and to teach us to love our neighbor as we live in His kingdom.
Don’t forget, we’re starting our new Bible Study at 8am this Sunday. We’ll also have Learning the Faith following worship. There will be a VBS Meeting after Learning the Faith. We could also use some volunteers to help carry things down from the attic storage in the gym, before the roof work begins this week.
