Dear Members and Friends of Zion,

This week we hear the stories of the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin. These are parables that teach us what repentance is: Jesus finding us when we’re lost! The Lord will go to any lengths, even suffering and death, to bring us back to Him.

VBS is this coming week, from 9-11:30am each morning. Thank you for all who have donated money and time to make it happen! We look forward to VBS children singing in worship next week and joining us for our Church Picnic.

Speaking of Church Picnics, ours is next week. It’s potluck style (Elders are grilling hot dogs and hamburgers; you bring a dish to share) and we’re inviting the community! So tell your friends and family, even if they’re not members of Zion! There will be lots of food, games for the kids and we’re going to have the School open for tours and questions.

We’d really love you to help put our Parade Float together! Come out next Saturday (June 23) at 10am and we’ll be working on it. Plus, you’re welcome to join us for the parades this summer in Wonder Lake on June 30 and Fiesta Days in McHenry on July 22.
